Summer Music Extravaganza for Berlin
Visitors to Berlin this summer are in for a musical treat as the Botanic Gardens plays host to a series of open-air concerts.
The concerts will take place on Friday evenings throughout August and are a collaboration between Berlin's Free University and the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin.
Four different concerts will form part of this year's entertainment, including a performance by Sonido Tres – six Cubans and one Canadian who all live in Berlin.
This performance of Latin American music on August 5th will be followed on August 12th by the guitar duo Hands on Strings.
Other concerts include music by the Salome Women's Orchestra and the Brandenburg Orchestra String Quartet.
Tickets can be purchased online or over the phone and the price includes entry to the gardens on the day of the concert, with all concerts starting at 6pm.
Those who wish to attend one of the summer concerts in the city should think about booking their accommodation in one of the many hotels in Berlin this summer.
