Warped Fun

Warped fun People who enjoy clubbing might be in the habit of heading to somewhere like Ibiza or another island in the sun, but an alternative presents itself in the German city of Mannheim between March 24th and 31st.

TDK Time Warp is a huge clubbing event that not only lasts all week but has a large variety of entertainments on offer, with organisers promising shows, concerts, workshops, film and even a traditional dance in the Maimarkthalle Hall on the final day, all of which will mark the 400th anniversary of the founding of Mannheim.

Acts confirmed include Monolake, Lexy and K-Paul, Deichkind and Martin Buttrich.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels in the area will have plenty to do outside the Maimarkthalle.

Panoramic views of Mannheim itself can be enjoyed from the observation deck of the Fernmeldeturm TV broadcasting tower, while the cities of Frankfurt and Stuttgart also lie nearby, as does the rural charm of the Neckar Valley.
