More Big Names Sign Up for Reykjavik Festival
The Cribs and Islands are the latest names to sign up for Reykjavik's big festival this year.
They join the likes of Love Is All, Brazilian Girls and Wolf Parade, while the UK's Kaiser Chiefs will also be appearing at the eight incarnation of the festival.
Iceland Airwaves 06, which will take place between October 18th and 22nd, moves between several of the city's best music venues, with the Reykjavik Art Museum, Nasa, Grand Rokk and The National Theatre Basement all hosting some of the 130-plus acts taking part.
Tickets are still available for the festival, which will feature a variety of music, from guitar rock to top DJs, both international and Icelandic.
For travellers planning to head out to the party, there is a lot more to do in Reykjavik besides listen to music, with a wide range of pubs, clubs and bars on offer to visitors, along with a choice of local and world cuisine.
