See What's on Show at Reykjavik's Photography Museum
People staying in cheap hotels in Reykjavik over the coming months will be able to visit the city's Museum of Photography as it hosts an exhibition entitled Heima-Heiman.
This display of work by the photographer Katrin Elvarsdottir and Sigrun Sigurdardottir will be open from September 13th until November 23rd.
The exhibition is dedicated to the people that for some reason have had to flee their home country and have found a home in Iceland.
A number of personal journeys are explored throughout the display, with stories being told of a diverse group of people and the experiences they have been through to arrive in Iceland.
Alongside the photographs, there are short pieces of text based on interviews with Sigrun Sigurdardottir, giving visitors an insight into the subjects' personal stories.
Admission to the Reykjavik Museum of Photography is free and any proceeds made from the photography exhibition will be donated to the Red Cross.
