Ballet Extravaganza in Dublin
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin at the beginning of May will be able to enjoy Ballet Extravaganza.
Presented by Ballet Ireland, this programme of events will celebrate the history and tradition of storytelling in the balletic form.
This year's series, which will include performances at Dublin's National Concert Hall on May 3rd and 4th, will see four brand new ballets commissioned specifically for the occasion.
Three of the new works are based on works by Oscar Wilde Salome, The Picture of Dorian Gray and The Birthday of the Infanta.
An original composition by Michael Corder, the internationally-renowned choreographer, for Ballet Ireland will complete the bill of original works.
The National Concert Hall, which people staying in cheap hotels in Dublin can find at Earlsfort Terrace, will be hosting an international concert season this year which will include a show called The World's Biggest Band, which will recreate hits by artists including Glenn Miller, Duke Ellington and Benny Goodman.
