Circus Comes to Dublin
Dublin will this year host a celebration of the many things associated with the circus.
The Circus Festival will take place from July 10th-13th at a number of locations in Temple Bar, including Meeting House Square, Cow's Lane and Curved Street.
Organised by the Temple Bar Cultural Trust, the event will include a packed programme of performances, workshops, interactive activities and family-friendly entertainment.
Temple Bar, which is located on the south bank of the River Liffey, is a popular area among people staying in cheap hotels in Dublin, partly as a result of its medieval street pattern and narrow cobbled streets.
It is home to a number of the city's cultural institutions, including the Irish Photography Centre, the Irish Film Institute and the Temple Bar Music Centre.
Between July 25th and 27th this year, the area will be inundated by visitors of a sweet-toothed persuasion, as it hosts the brand new Chocolate Festival.
