Discover Yeats in Dublin
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Dublin this year will be able to learn about the life of William Butler Yeats at the National Library of Ireland.
This acclaimed exhibition charts every aspect of the poet's life, from his descent from the Pollexfen and Yeats families to his final years and his death.
Visitors will be able to see a computer exhibition exploring a number of the locations that inspired Yeats' work, including Ben Bulben, Coole Park, India, Japan and Byzantium.
A film included in the exhibition will cover the women in Yeats' life, including Maud Gonne, a woman who never fully returned the love that the writer felt for her.
Another interest of the show is Celtic folklore and mythology, as this was a subject of great interest to Yeats that informed a lot of his poetry.
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin this year will also be able to visit the Strangers to Citizens exhibit at the National Library of Ireland, which explores the mass migration of many Irish people to Europe following the wars at the end of the 16th century.
