Dublin Hosts Jack Pierson Exhibition
Fans of American artist Jack Pierson, or art lovers who would like to expand their knowledge and interests, should get their cheap hotels in Dublin booked and attend an exhibition in the city over the coming months.
The Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA) will host a display of Pierson's work until May 18th.
Pierson has worked in media including photography, sculpture, drawing and installation and covered themes including stardom, loneliness, love and glamour.
He has been the subject of exhibitions throughout Europe, including shows in Barcelona, Munich and Los Angeles last year.
Some of Pierson's pieces are included in the permanent collections of the Guggenheim Museum in New York and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
The exploration of this interesting artist in Dublin will comprise 45 works, including a number of iconic photographs, drawings, installations and his famous word sculptures.
Visitors can find the entrance to the IMMA on Military Road.
