Dublin to Turn Stranger Than Fiction

Dublin to turn Stranger than Fiction Film buffs with an interest in the documentary genre may fancy paying a visit to Dublin this September for the Stranger than Fiction festival and market.

This is the largest festival dedicated exclusively to the exhibition and production of documentary films in Ireland.

People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin will be able to visit the event, which has been part of Ireland's cultural calendar since 2001, at the Irish Film Institute from September 25th to 28th.

Movies exhibited will include Irish shorts, lasting ten minutes or less, international shorts and Irish features of 60 minutes or more.

The Irish Film Institute will host a number of events that are sure to be of interest to visitors this year, including a Horrorthon between October 23rd and 27th and a Polish Film Festival at the beginning of November.

Tourists in Dublin will be able to find the institute in the trendy Temple Bar area, a cultural quarter that offers plenty of regular entertainment and activities.
