Explore Some Impressionist Interiors

Explore some Impressionist interiors Art lovers will find an ideal opportunity to delve into the lovingly rendered world of Impressionism on a trip to Dublin this summer.

The National Gallery of Ireland will host an exhibition called Impressionist Interiors until August 10th.

This show highlights some of the more intimate observations of the leading exponents of Impressionism, including work by Manet, Monet, Renoir, Degas, Gauguin and Vuillard.

Many of the pieces in the exhibition have been brought together from collections in Europe and the United States.

While the majority of the display items are from the 1870s and 1880s, some show how artists such as Edouard Vuillard and Pierre Bonard carried the Impressionist movement into the 20th century.

People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin will find the National Gallery of Ireland, which houses a broad collection of Irish art and European paintings, on Merrion Square West and Clare Street.
