Flower Festival Blooms in Dublin

Flower festival blooms in Dublin Horticulturalists staying in cheap hotels in Dublin at the end of May will be able to indulge their hobby to their heart's content at a magnificent flower festival.

The Bloom 2008 event will take place at Phoenix Park between May 29th and June 2nd this year.

This celebration of all things floral will feature plenty of attractions for visitors, including showgardens, stunning and ambitious displays, interactive exhibits and a farmers' market.

There will also be a food pavilion, a family fun zone and indoor and outdoor entertainment to keep the younger visitors happy.

Bloom 2008 will be presented by Bord Bia, or the Irish Food Board, and is one of the most anticipated and popular events on Dublin's cultural and social calendar.

Women who prefer their outdoor pursuits to be of the more energetic kind may be interested in taking part in the Flora Women's Mini Marathon on June 2nd.

This race, which will take place in Dublin's city centre, has grown into the biggest all women's event of its kind in the world since it was launched in 1983.
