Get Fighting Fit in Dublin
Visitors to Dublin will be given the chance to take on a tough but rewarding challenge when the city hosts the Focus Ireland Triathlon.
This event will be held for the first time at Grand Canal Square in Dublin on August 3rd.
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin will be able to cheer on the participants or even take part themselves.
The event is open to people who have never taken part in a triathlon before, as well as experienced athletes and triathlon teams, all of whom will be raising money for good causes.
Technically a sprint distance event, the triathlon includes a 750m swim in the Grand Canal's outer basin, a 20km lapped cycle ride of Dublin's historic quays and a 5km run.
Dublin's Docklands area will host a number of events over the coming months, including the Analog music festival on July 18th-20th.
