Go All the Way to Galway

Go all the way to Galway Those who enjoy traditional music can do so in a picturesque and hospitable setting in Galway City when the Galway Early Music Festival 2007 takes place.

Held in the small Irish city from May 17th to the 20th, the event features medieval, renaissance and baroque music, with organisers promising a special pirate theme this year.

Apart from the music, Galway has a wide range of attractions for visitors staying in cheap hotels.

The city offers walking tours, boat trips out in the bay, as well as some historic architecture, with St Nicholas's Church being the largest medieval church still in use in Ireland.

Galway is also known as a major centre of culture, with the festival being just one expression of a vibrant arts scene and a high proportion of Irish language speakers.

Naturally enough, like anywhere in Ireland there is plenty of entertainment and pubs in which to enjoy local hospitality and partying.
