Lovebox Opens in Dublin
Music fans planning stays in cheap hotels in Dublin this summer should set August 23rd aside as the Irish city prepares to host its very own Lovebox Weekender.
Lovebox Dublin will be held at Marlay Park and will feature a range of diverse and bespoke entertainment stages.
Top of the bill on the main stage will be Maximo Park, N.E.R.D, Paulo Nutini, Kid Creole and the Coconuts, Gorillaz Sound System and Sam Sparro.
Other performers will include Plain White Ts, Das Pop, The Filthy Dukes and Leon Jean Marie.
The event will be about more than just music, however, with an organic farmers market, a funfair, a three-storey film set and a kids' area also keeping visitors entertained.
Visitors will find Marlay Park in Rathfarnham in the area of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown in County Dublin, about ten miles from the city centre.
The park will host a number of musical events in August, including concerts by Muse, Lenny Kravitz, Metallica and The Killers.
