Myriad Masks at The Ark
The Ark family cultural centre in Dublin will once again open its doors this summer to host an exhibition of weird and wonderful masks from across the world.
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin will be able to see this display, called simply Masks!, from July 4th until August 17th.
The show includes a variety of striking exhibits, from African masks to the willow masks of the Mummers tradition and seven-foot Macnas parade masks.
In addition to the exhibition itself, there will be a range of workshops and events giving visitors the chance to learn about and participate in the practice of mask-making.
The Ark offers a range of shows and exhibits for families and children and sets out to help young people learn, enjoy themselves and expand their horizons.
Visitors will find the centre on Eustace Street in Dublin's Temple Bar area.
