Prepare for Green Energy in Dublin
There will be plenty of musical entertainment for visitors to cheap hotels in Dublin to feast on in May as the Heineken Green Energy Festival kicks off.
This annual event will take place at venues including Dublin Castle for the eighth time in 2008, getting started on May 3rd and drawing to a close on May 5th.
A range of top artists are on the programme, including Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, who will get the party underway with a performance on the evening of May 3rd.
Soulwax, 2ManyDJs and guests will entertain the Dublin crowds on May 4th before The Kooks play the festival out on May 5th.
More Irish and international acts will be involved throughout the festival weekend, which will also include a street carnival and music seminars throughout Dublin.
There will also be the famous band challenge and other events taking place at the Olympia Theatre, the Temple Bar Music Centre and other venues.
