Set Sail for Kinsale
Those who really want to eat well this autumn can do so by heading across the Irish Sea to Kinsale.
Held from October 12th to 14th, the Kinsale Food Festival is an annual event in which the area shows off its fine culinary traditions in a way that is bound to get the tastebuds tingling.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels will be able to enjoy a line-up of gourmet foods which a number of local restaurants will be dishing up as the town goes food crazy.
Organisers are promising plenty of fun and entertainment to go with the food and wine (not to mention a bit of the ubiquitous black stuff), just as one might expect in a country which knows how to party.
Set in a beautiful natural harbour on the coast, Kinsale is claimed to be the oldest town in Ireland as well as its food capital.
