Sleeping Beauty Revamped Comes to Dublin
Musical fans staying in cheap hotels in Dublin will be able to see a fresh take on the fairytale of The Sleeping Beauty at the Gaiety Theatre in May.
This brand new musical by the award-winning composer Trisha Ward centres on Rosie, a librarian in the village of 'Snuzzze', who is ordered around by the grumpy residents of the town and constantly berated by her boss Mrs Dustjacket.
One day, Rosie begins to read the story The Sleeping Beauty, which transports her to a world of castles, princesses and magical races.
As the tale unfolds, Rosie begins to realise that there is more to Mrs Dustjacket than meets the eye and she must stop the older woman's evil plan to turn back time and change the ending of the story forever.
The show will have its world premiere at the Gaiety Theatre before transferring to the West End later this year.
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin can see the new musical between May 14th and June 21st.
