Spanish Harlem Comes to Dublin
Dublin will play host to a musical incarnation of one of the most exciting and dynamic areas of New York on April 12th.
People staying in cheap hotels in Dublin around this date will be able to enjoy the 13-piece Spanish Harlem Orchestra.
Since it formed in 2000, this musical group has brought the unique sounds of New York City salsa to music lovers all over the world.
Cities as diverse and disparate as Hong Kong, Istanbul, Zurich and Montreal have played host to the Spanish Harlem Orchestra, which has been honoured with a Grammy music award in the past.
In addition to preserving the history of Latin music, the orchestra writes and arranges its own pieces to suit the tastes of modern audiences.
The group's show will be held at the National Concert Hall in Dublin on April 12th.
This venue will also host the annual performance of the UCD Symphony Orchestra on April 9th.
