Street Performance Reaches Peak in Dublin

The AIB Street Performance World Championship will be held in Merrion Square in the Irish capital between June 13th and 15th.

This free weekend of entertainment sees the most talented and innovative street performers in the world converge on Dublin.

Visitors of various ages will be able to enjoy the event, which will boast performances by sword swallowers, mime artists, award-winning clowns and more.

An international balloon artists team and top face painters from across Ireland will be able to give members of the crowd a memento to take home, while stalls selling world foods will ensure that nobody goes hungry.

Merrion Square is situated on the south side of Dublin city centre and is a popular attraction in itself.

It is one of the city's finest Georgian squares and is close to a number of other notable locations, including the National Museum of Ireland and the National Gallery of Ireland.
