For those who fancy something a bit different this Easter the 15th Samhlaoicht Easter Arts Festival will be taking place in the town of Tralee in Ireland's County Kerry (dates to be confirmed).
Combining with the Bumblebee festival, the event is said by organisers to be a showcase of local arts, music and comedy, with performances, seminars and parades.
Every year the festival has a special theme, with last year emphasising the concept of roots, both cultural and vegetable.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in the area will be able to enjoy both the culture and the legendary hospitality of Ireland.
As well as the festival, Kerry offers a wide range of natural attractions, including the highest mountains in Ireland at Macgillycuddy's Reeks, topped by the 3,414 ft high Carrauntoohil.
The wild Atlantic coast nearby also offers dramatic and rugged scenery as well as the chance to hop on a boat and explore the rocky Skellig Isles.
