All White on the Night
Those who like to party all night will have a great chance to do so in Rome on the night of the 8th to the 9th of September, when the White Night event takes place.
All night long Rome is open with performances of opera, film and music running from 20:00 local time on the 8th to 08:00 on the 9th, with art galleries, bars and restaurants also open for the duration.
There will be extra public transport laid on to help visitors get around from one attraction to another.
In addition to all the entertainment, the festival will also highlight social issues such as homelessness.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels will not just be able to enjoy this night of culture but also enjoy many of Rome's attractions by day.
These include Roman buildings such as the Coliseum and the catacombs, the grandeur of the Vatican and a pleasant beaches on the nearby coast.
