Appreciate Music at the Time of Goldoni
Visitors to Venice this year will have the chance to experience music as it was enjoyed at the time of the great playwright and librettist Carlo Goldoni.
The Music at the Time of Goldoni series has seen a number of concerts performed in Venice since January 25th and will continue until June 27th.
Events will take place at Carlo Goldoni's House, a museum that is open to the public, every other Friday at 18:00.
Over the coming months performances will include pieces by such great composers as Johan Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Giuseppe Torelli and Goldoni himself.
People staying in cheap hotels in Venice can find Carlo Goldoni's House, which has retained its Gothic style while introducing a number of elements of modern museum design, in the San Polo area of the city.
Each room in the museum features a large television screen showing various productions of Goldoni's work.
