Bargain Hunters Unite
Brits often fancy themselves as accomplished bargain hunters and could have the chance to test their abilities on foreign soil this November.
On the first and third Sunday of every month in Rome's Piazza Augusto Imperatore a bargain market is held where hundreds of people gather to see just how far they can stretch their shopping budget.
More than 100 exhibitors will be there trying to flog their items, which range from interesting antiques and collectors' items to practical everyday objects.
The piazza is set in an intriguing location, with marble buildings around the outside and cheap hotels no doubt in close proximity.
It is nestled in the centre of the city, not far from the banks of Italy's third longest river, the Tiber.
Rome has more than 2.7 million residents, rising to around four million in the metropolitan area, and is situated in a spot where the Tiber joins the river Aniene.
