Be in Venice for the Biennale

Those who pursue an interest in international culture will know the name of the Venice Biennale, one of the world's most prestigious cultural institutions.

For over a century the Biennale has promoted and inspired creative talent, exploring numerous artistic spheres in the process.

Culture vultures who book a cheap hotel in Venice before November 21st will be able to catch the Biennale's 52nd international art exhibition.

This year the showcase has been curated by critic and artist Robert Storr, the first American director ever to be given the privilege of coordinating the world famous art review.

The main international exhibition – held in the Arsenale Corderie and Artigliere and in the Padiglione Italia at the Giardini – features the work of around 100 artists from around the world.

Creations from a total of 76 countries – more than ever before – will also be exhibited in the historic centre of Venice, strengthening the international and multicultural flavour of this year's event.
