Boat Show Sails into Venice
The city of Venice will be staging another exploration of the marine world this year as it hosts the seventh annual boat show.
This event, officially named the Festival of the Sea, is designed to be of interest to the general public and also to particular sector operators.
Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Venice between March 8th and 16th will be able to explore a number of themes linked to the nautical world, including history, luxury seafaring, technology, ecology and tourism.
Display areas will be spread out all over the Italian city, with the Marittima hosting the principal shipyards and exhibitors.
The Molino Stucky Hilton hotel will be the location for the Passion, Yachts and Emotion show and it will also be possible to visit the Arsenal, a historic Venetian monument that last year hosted a number of old ships and vessels.
One of the most interesting sections of the festival for sailing enthusiasts will be the Vega, a technology and science park that will be devoted to new technologies on March 14th and 15th.
