Discover Leonardo's Machines in Venice
Visitors to Venice will be able to learn more about the genius of Leonardo da Vinci at a special exhibition this year.
The show, called Leonardo's Machines, will be held at the Chiesa di San Barnaba from May 1st until the end of the year.
About 40 models representing Da Vinci's plans for various vehicles and devices will comprise the exhibition, including a number of flying machines that will be connected with a wooden framework.
A number of the exhibits will relate to the principles of mechanics and will be interactive, with visitors able to explore their functions and movements.
There will also be a shop at the entrance to the exhibition, where people interested in the work of Da Vinci can buy gadgets and books related to the life and work of the great genius.
