Explore and Roam in Romaeuropa
Rome holds one of its largest cultural events in November and December, Romaeuropa, celebrating everything from theatre and dance to music and film.
Various events are held all over the historic Italian capital up until December 15th, at venues including the Auditorium Parco della Musica and Teatro Olimpico.
Among the events scheduled for December is a show by choreographer Caterina Sagna, who is known for blurring the borders between theatre, dance, music and speech.
A performance called Legend of the Sword will also be taking place at the Auditorium Conciliazone on December 13th and 14th, which combines dynamic drumming with swordplay, all choreographed to form a thrilling blend of sound and movement.
People with cheap hotels booked in Rome in December will be able to enjoy this cultural celebration that dates back to 1984.
Over the years Romaeuropa has presented a wide range of cultural offerings to audiences, from the work of popular artists to performances by gypsy groups from Andalusia and Pakistan.
