Explore In-Finitum in Venice People staying in cheap hotels in Venice this autumn will have the opportunity to visit an exhibition exploring the concept of infinity.

In-Finitum will be open at the Fortuny Museum in Venice until November 15th.

The exhibition features work by a broad selection of well-known artists who interpreted the theme of infinity in the context of their respective cultures.

Science, philosophy and the arts are among the topics addressed in the artworks, some of which also consider the concept of the vacuum as the opposite of infinity.

The Fortuny Museum display features pieces by some of the best-known artists of the 19th and 20th centuries, including Paul Cezanne, Joan Miro, Pablo Picasso and Alberto Burri.

Also open in Venice this year is Making Worlds, the 53rd International Art Exhibition at the 2009 Venice Biennale.

Travellers staying in cheap hotels in Venice will be able to see the display at the Arsenale and other venues around the city until November 22nd.
