Get into Italian Art in Venice
Art enthusiasts will be able to expand their knowledge of Italian culture during breaks in Venice this year.
On June 7th, a new exhibition entitled Don't Look Now, or 'Non Voltari Adesso', was launched on the second floor of Ca' Pesaro in Venice.
The showcase was put together to celebrate the reopening of this particular exhibition space after 30 years of disuse. The venue boasts a number of attractive and unique features, including dozens of windows overlooking the Grand Canal.
Don't Look Now features a selection of pieces by ten Italian artists, as well as a number of historic works from the Ca' Pesaro collection.
The exhibition was curated by Milovan Farronata, artistic director of the Viafarini in Milan, an institution that has been dedicated to the promotion of Italian art since 1992.
People staying in cheap hotels in Venice will be able to see the exhibition until October 4th this year.
