Italy's Oldest Motorbike Race Returns
The oldest motorcycle race in the history of Italy is underway once more.
Motogiro d'Italia 2006 is a revival of classic Italian motorbike racing and the event takes place over five days, finishing on May 20th.
Beginning in Rimini, the event will see some classic Italian motorbikes riding through the wonderful twists and turns of the Italian mountains and will be revisiting many areas which were seen during the golden days of this event.
This motorbike race was first established in Italy in 1953 and quickly became a massive favourite with the locals and motorbike fans during the decade.
Although it ended abruptly, the event is now back and is set to capture the imagination of a whole new generation of motorbike fans.
