Just One Music Festival, Give It to Me
Music fans have a chance to see the Cornetto Music Festival in three different cities in the Summer of 2007: Milan, Rome and Naples, with the Neopolitan flavoured Cornetto taking place ON June 25th.
Sting heads up a cast of famous acts in this free event, which is held in the Piazza del Popolo in the heart of the city.
In addition to the open-air concerts, Naples has a wide range of attractions for visitors staying in cheap hotels.
While it has access to the warm summer waters of the Mediterranean, with plenty of sand and sun to go with it, there area also many attractions inland, not least Mount Vesuvius, which overlooks the city and last erupted in 1944.
One major attraction nearby owes everything to a previous eruption of Vesuvius: the ruins of Pompeii, buried in volcanic ash in AD 79.
