Milan Goes Americando
The spirit of Latin America has had Milan dancing for the last month, as the Festival Latino Americando reaches the halfway point.
Starting on June 15th and running to August 15th 2006, thousands will head to the party at the city's Forum.
Beautiful women, drink and music are in abundance, as a South American village is created at the site, divided into Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Cuba and Peru.
Internationally renowned musicians, literature, visual and performing arts, film, folklore and food will also be on the menu for revellers, with the music taking centre stage.
Each night will feature a musical act; Previous performer have included Colombian salsa act Gripo Niche and Omara Purtuondo of the world-famous Buena Vista Social Club.
Travellers may be able to indulge in South American food and fun, partying the night away, while there will also be a Miss Festival competition, to find the most beautiful woman taking part in the festivities.
