This Way Ferrara Taste of the Old
Those who enjoy some time-honoured traditions will find one of the most enduring entertainment events in Italy at the Palio de Ferrara in the town of that name in northern Italy in late May (date to be confirmed).
In a throwback to the middle ages, an historical procession in 15th century period costume is followed by a series of horse races down the main street that date back all the way to the 13th century.
