Venice Explores Work of Leonardo Bezzola

Venice explores work of Leonardo Bezzola This year people staying in cheap hotels in Venice will be able to visit an exhibition by photographer Leonardo Bezzola.

A display held at the Istituto Svizzero di Roma a Venezia until May 3rd will include 63 black and white shots by Bezzola exploring a number of themes of life in Venice.

The arrival of Swiss sculptor Jean Tinguely in the city, the sad smile on the face of artist Niki de Saint Phalle and Bernhard Luginbuehl's explosion of forms are all among the subjects of Bezzola's pictures.

Visitors will also be able to see photographs of exotic locations, rare cars and Italian landscapes.

During the exhibition, a documentary made by Bezzola will also be projected in the gallery.

Art lovers staying in cheap hotels in Venice will have no trouble finding a number of exhibitions to pique their interest, including a show called Spheres of the Earth and Sky, on display at the Correr Museum until April 13th.

This exhibition explores the various ways that the earth and sky have been depicted over the years.
