Venice Orchestrates Concert Season
Music lovers visiting cheap hotels in Venice over the coming months will be able to enjoy an extensive series of concerts.
On every Friday and Saturday until June 28th, visitors will be able to attend concerts at the Querini Stampalia Foundation in the Italian city.
Taking place at 5pm and 7pm every day, the performances will last approximately 30 minutes and seats at the concerts will be included in the price of the entrance ticket.
The programme of shows includes medieval, renaissance and baroque music spanning a period from the 14th to the 18th century.
Founded in 1869, the Querini Stampalia Foundation now features an archive, a library and a museum of paintings and furnishings that is open for public interest and research.
The museum's substantial art collection focuses on Venetian baroque and rococo pieces and includes paintings by Pietro Longhi, Federico Cervelli, Pietro Muttoni and Sebastiano Ricci.
