Venice Presents Work of Marisa Bronzini
People staying in cheap hotels in Venice over the coming months will be able to learn more about the work of a master weaver.
An exhibition dedicated to Marisa Bronzini will be held at the Palazzo Mocenigo until June 1st this year.
Bronzini was an undisputed master in her field and a delicate weaver and user of textiles.
This exploration of her work presents more than 30 pieces that span her artistic career, which stretched throughout the second half of the 20th century.
On the ground floor of the museum at the Palazzo Mocenigo visitors will see tapestries and other large works, while the first floor accommodates more than 20 textile sculptures.
There is also a selection of contemporary artistic rugs from Sardinia, which pay homage to Bronzini's mastery of her craft and her technical abilities.
Travellers will find the Palazzo Mocenigo at Venice's Santa Croce.
