Super Furry Fun
Residents of Tokyo and travelling fans from around the world will be having some fun of the Super Furry variety in November.
The Super Furry Animals, one of Wales' best-known and most-loved musical exports, will be coming to the Japanese capital's Liquid Room on November 9th and 10th.
Well known for their surreal sounds and unique live shows, the band have been wandering around the world in support of their new album Hey Venus!
They will keep their UK fans happy before heading to Japan, where they will also play in Osaka's Club Quatro, and then make their way through Spain, Germany, France and Holland.
For people staying in cheap hotels in Tokyo when the Super Furries are in town, the Liquid Room is about a ten-minute walk from Shinjuku station.
As well as holding gigs by well-known travelling bands the club also hosts some of Tokyo's leading new wave artists.
