The Grand Finale

The Grand finale Motorsport fans could be in for the ultimate treat on September 30th as the Japanese Grand Prix marks the climax of the 2007 Formula 1 season.

Held at the Fuji Speedway, close to the famous Mount Fuji and 100 kilometres (61 miles) from Tokyo, the race could be the one to decide the destiny of the driver's championship.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels in the area may be able to witness the land of sushi and sumo hailing someone from Stevenage if the meteoric rise of Lewis Hamilton climaxes in victory here.

As well as the proximity of Tokyo and other major cities such as Nagoya and Osaka, motorsport fans relaxing before and after the race can enjoy plenty of food and culture, not to mention the stunning mountain scenery.

One particular feature of area is the large number of geothermal springs, offering great relaxation in the naturally warm waters.
