Amsterdam Hosts Sensation

Amsterdam will host a festival this summer billed as "the world's leading dance event".

Sensation will be held at Arena Boulevard in Amsterdam Zuidoost, between July 5th and 12th.

This major event features a number of top DJs and a range of entertainment, as well as a dress code of all-white to ensure that revellers are in-sync and colour coordinated.

Amsterdam Zuidoost is one of the 15 boroughs of the Dutch capital and is characterised by a multicultural atmosphere owing to the range of nationalities that comprise the local population.

People staying in cheap hotels in Amsterdam will find that the area is in fact an exclave of the capital, as it does not directly border any other part of the city.

Between July 27th and 29th, Amsterdam will host the Youth Friendship Games, a mini version of the Olympic Games for young athletes.

People aged 11 to 19 will take part in the event, which features eight sports, including swimming.
