Ground Zero for Party Animals

Holidaymakers or party animals looking for a chance to shake their stuff this weekend may well be heading to the Netherlands.

United Dance Company's Ground Zero, a gathering of some of the top names in electronic dance music, takes place on Saturday July 1st, with thousands expected to join to the party.

Whether for a planned trip or an impromptu night out, fans of ambient or banging electronica can head to the Bussloo Recreational Ground in the country's heart for a night of partying.

Over 40 DJs will be spinning on the wheels of steel, with local and European talent joined by top US acts such as Lenny Dee.

Set amid beaches, lakes and lush greenery, the music starts late in the evening and ends early Sunday morning, so it's not for early risers or the feint-hearted.

The night is one of several summer festivals in the pipeline for United dance Company, the Dance Valley festival will take place on July 14th and 15th, featuring the Prodigy and Ferry Cortsen.
