Alongside this, Icelandic oddball Bjork will make an appearance, Arcade Fire play their first gig Down Under, while Dizzee Rascal is also on the bill.

Tickets for the show are available from the Big Day Out website and people hoping to make the event should book their tickets and hotels in New Zealand as soon as possible.

The festival began in 1992 as a Syndey-only show, with Nirvana taking to the stage. It has since transformed into a huge rolling festival, taking up much of the Gold Coast and now New Zealand, showcasing talent from around the world as well as the best from Down Under.
