Queen of the Winter
Thrill seekers have yet another reason to head to Queenstown on New Zealand's South Island, with the town's winter festival taking place from June 22nd to July 1st 2007.

Less strenuous activities available include lake steaming on the TSS Earnslaw across Lake Wakitapu, fishing and wine tasting.
