There's Norway This Should Be Missed
Lovers of literature will have an extra reason to visit the Norwegian town of Lillehammer at the end of May, as the 13th Norwegian Festival of Literature takes place in the town.
Featuring cutting edge Norwegian literature, organisers have announced that this year's theme is one of infidelity - the practice of disloyalty against governments and states, beliefs, in relationships and even against the self.
The event runs from May 29th to June 3rd 2007 and there will be English translators present, according to the festival site.
Apart from the literature, visitors staying in cheap hotels in Lillehammer can also enjoy a wide range of things to see and do.
The beautiful setting of the town, which hosted the 1994 Winter Olympics, includes its position on the banks of Lake Mjosa, on which Skibladner, the world's oldest paddle steamer, sails.
It also hosts the huge Maihaugen open-air museum, with 185 buildings.
