Get Historic in Krakow
Those with a taste for history may wish to visit the ancient city of Krakow to take in one of central Europe's largest collection of ancient and modern artefacts.
Open throughout the year, the Museum of History of the City of Krakow is housed in a series of buildings, including the Old Synagogue and the Town Hall Tower.

The Old Synagogue building details the history of the many Jewish inhabitants of Krakow, charting the creation of the building itself in 1570 to modern times, including their persecution at the hands of Hitler and the Nazi party during World War II.
However, modern Krakow is a vibrant and picturesque city that has become popular with tourists thanks to its many cheap hotels and uniquely European atmosphere.
