Go Behind the Scenes of Krakow's Theatres
Travellers staying in cheap hotels in Krakow will be offered a fascinating peek behind the scenes of the city's theatres later this year.
Krakow Theatre Night, which is being held for the third time, will invite guests on an exciting night-time journey on June 12th and 13th.
Tours will be arranged allowing visitors to see how scenery is constructed, what a theatrical wardrobe looks like and other behind-the-scenes aspects of stage entertainment.
People with a strong nerve can go on the Haunted Night at the Theatre tour, which will visit portions of some of Krakow's playhouses that are usually inaccessible and will have a few extra surprises thrown in.
Running from 17:00 until 02:00 local time, Krakow Theatre Night will be free to attend but theatre seats for some shows may need to be reserved beforehand.
People with an interest in art and culture will also be able to attend the Art Boom festival in Krakow, an event that will showcase work by young Polish artists in exhibitions running from June 13th to 27th.
