Krakow to Toast Jewish Culture

Krakow to toast Jewish culture The Polish city of Krakow will be celebrating Jewish culture and everything associated with it at a dedicated festival this year.

Jewish culture is represented throughout the restaurants, museums, music and lifestyle of Poland and Krakow's Kazimierz district has served as a hub of celebration of this fact every year since 1988.

The festival, which people staying in cheap hotels in Krakow can visit between June 28th and July 6th, sees synagogues, cafes, pubs and streets brought to life with music and song.

Szeroka Street provides the location for the grand finale of the festival when it plays host to a concert on the last day of the event.

A number of exhibitions will be launched during the cultural celebration, including a display of posters and photographs from Israel and Palestine at the Muzeum Inzynierii Miejskiej.

Visitors will also be able to enjoy film screenings, lectures, theatre shows and workshops all themed around Jewish life and culture.
