Orchestra to Bring Music to Old Krakow

Orchestra to bring music to old Krakow The Music in Old Krakow festival will once again be held this summer, bringing traditional entertainment to one of Poland's emerging tourist destinations.

Visitors staying in cheap hotels in Krakow will be able to enjoy this traditional festival from August 16th until August 31st.

Concerts take place in a range of Krakow's most picturesque locations, including St Adalbert's Church in the main market square, St Mark's Church and the Bernardine Church.

The festival's music is provided by Capella Cracovienis, a collective of musicians, instrumentalists and singers that was founded in 1970 by Stanislaw Galonski.

Capella Cracovienis comprises elements including a chamber orchestra, a male vocal ensemble and an independent wind instruments ensemble.

The group has performed all over the world, throughout the USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and elsewhere.

People staying in cheap hotels in Krakow who take the opportunity to see one of the collective's forthcoming shows will hear them perform pieces by composers including Beethoven, Schubert, Haydn and Vivaldi.
