Dinning Out in Warsaw

For healthy and affordable, try Green Way. This restraunt is only small, but tables always seem to becoming free. The restaurant has plenty of fresh salads and vegetable dishes as well as natural fresh drinks. The Greenway is located at 6 Ulica Szpitalna, Warsaw.

For those who love Mexican, then try out Someplace Else in the Sheraton Hotel. This restaurant serves Great Mexican food and even better margaritas to wash the food down with. The Sheraton Hotel is located at 2 Ulica Prusa.

The restaurant Biblioteka is uniquely located in the University of Warsaw Library. The restraunt here has been wowing the people of Warsaw for some time now. The restaurant Biblioteka is at 56-66 Ulica Dobra and the menu is well worth browsing through.

Areas of Interest in Warsaw

The grand Palace of Culture and Science dominates the Warsaw skyline. This museum can take up your whole weekend if you wanted. There are always regular activities taking place, as well as an observation deck, cinema and theatre all within. If you are here in the winter then head to the north side of the building, were you can do some ice-skating.

Wola Park is one of Poland’s great shopping centres. The centre boasts over 160 shops to explore, as well as cafes, bars and restaurants. Also for those who are not as keen as some to shop, the park surrounding the centre is a protected park and is worth a stroll around. 

Warsaw Nightlife

If you are looking for some live music, try out Morgan’s at 1 Ulica Okolnik. This Irish basement pub has a great feel to it. The place has live bands every other night, they however will not be playing traditional Polish folk music.

For a late and lively night out try Luzztro at 6 Aleje Jerozolimskie. This place is definitely for the late party people. The club has resident DJ’s and guest DJ’s who can arrive as late as 5 am.

For those who like there evenings to end before dawn, try out The Mexican at 10a Ulica Foksal. Here the smooth sound of Latin music drifts across the airwaves, while sipping a large margherita.

Getting from Warsaw Airport

Taxi
The taxi rank is located outside the arrival hall. A taxi from the Airport into the centre of Warsaw should be no more than 30 Polish Lot.

Car Hire
The main car rental desks are located inside the arrival hall, they include such suppliers as Europcar and Hertz.
