Estoril's Estival Festival
Those who fancy a summer extravaganza of classical music in a warm coastal location will find all of this in the Potuguese town of Estoril, just west of the capital, Lisbon.
Running from July 16th to August 5th, the Estoril Music Festival has been running since 1975 and regularly features an international cast of orchestras, ballet and dance, with competitions and master classes for those wanting to improve their own musical skills.
Concerts are held in a wide range of venues around Estoril, with a few of the events taking place in Lisbon.
